The Algorithm Is Confused. The Buyers Aren’t.

If you’ve ever created content online, you know how frustrating algorithms can be.
One video performs well.
The next one disappears.
The numbers go up.
The numbers go down.
It’s easy to become obsessed with metrics.
I’ve been there.
But while reviewing the growth of BTRU, I noticed something interesting.
The algorithm wasn’t always consistent.
The buyers were.
While views fluctuated, the conversations remained similar.
The customer profile remained similar.
The reasons people connected with the brand remained similar.
The field kept telling the same story.
Builders were responding to the philosophy.
Builders were responding to the message.
Builders were responding to the identity.
That taught me a valuable lesson.
Algorithms measure attention.
Customers measure value.
Both matter.
But if they disagree, I pay close attention to the people opening their wallets.
Because that’s where the truth usually lives.
