We’re Not Where I Thought We’d Be

We’re Not Where I Thought We’d Be

If you asked me a year ago what BTRU would become, I probably would’ve given you the wrong answer.

Not because I lacked vision.

Because I lacked data.

At that point, BTRU existed mostly in my imagination.

Today, BTRU exists in conversations.

In customers.

In experiences.

In lessons learned through real-world testing.

The biggest surprise has been realizing that the brand is becoming something much larger than apparel.

The people connecting with BTRU aren’t simply looking for clothing.

They’re looking for representation.

They’re looking for a symbol.

They’re looking for something that reflects who they are and what they’re building.

That’s a responsibility I don’t take lightly.

The field has taught me that building a brand isn’t about forcing a vision onto the world.

It’s about paying attention long enough to discover what the vision was meant to become.

BTRU is still forming.

The mission is still evolving.

The work is far from finished.

But for the first time, the direction feels clear.

And that’s a powerful place to be.
